Here is a new route operated by the LTA to connect two of the city’s most valuble transit hubs. Route 4 ~ Grand Easton is an express route which operates between the Waterfront Bus Terminal (Bus Lane) and Grand Easton Stations previously unused open-air annex on Columbus Avenue. With the route being express in nature, please make sure that you are not stopping anywhere except where indicated by the orange dash marks on the map.

Destination signs will be updated on this route later today.

Another new route to the database is Route 71 ~ Saratoga (Garage) which travels from various parts of Liberty City to the Liberty Transit Authority garage at Saratoga Avenue. The goal of this route is to avoid losing revenues on buses returning to the garages throughout the city. At this time, there is only one garage/teminal which we will be testing this type of route on.

There are 3 sub-routes for Route 71 ~ Saratoga (Garage).:

71 ~ Saratoga Garage – This route will travel from Bus Lane to the Saratoga Garage, making all normal stops. This bus terminates at the garage.

71A ~ Saratoga – This route is the flagship of this series of routes. 71A is responsible for the continuous back and forth between the Broker Bus Terminal and the Saratoga Avenue Garage.

71E – Any bus which is going to go ”Out of Service” for travel back to the Saratoga Garage will wear this number. Passengers may board at the terminal of departure BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EXIT UNTIL ARRIVAL AT THE SARATOGA GARAGE. This route ends here, there are no connections.

In response to the high amount of 9-1-1 calls to the emergency dispatch center, the Liberty Transit Authority is working closely with the Liberty City Emergency Services (LCPD, FDLC, and MS Paramedics) to provide transportation from the busiest parts of Algonquin to the local hospitals. With MS Paramedics and FDLC responding to a rise in calls (up 14% from last year), patients who are able to make it to the hospital on their own power can use this service to transport themselves to the hospital for a lower cost than 9-1-1 services.

Route 8 ~ Medical Express will depart from the Bus Lane SATELLITE terminal (under the highway on Privateer Ave.). This route will depart every 15 minutes heading northbound on Albany Ave. to avoid much of the traffic which Liberty City is used to.

Drivers, please refer to the map for the designated stop points. It is highly imparitive that these are the only stops for this route. Patients traveling on the bus may need medical attention in a very timely manner.

As 2010 continues, the Liberty Transit Authority is renewing our commitment to assisting the citizens of Liberty City by connecting them to the destinations they need to get to. The newest route to the transit system is Route 49 ~ Industrial which will connect the LTA’s Ferry Terminal through the industrial zones of south-eastern Alderney. There are two different direction signs which are affixed to this route. Please see the maps and direction signs posted below for further information.

Welcome to 2010! On behalf of the Liberty Transit Authority, we would like to thank all of our guests for their visits to the website and usage of our services. We had a great year in 2009 and hope to have a stronger year in 2010! To start things off, I am proud to introduce one of the routes which as been requested by a user of our community! We look forward to working with our community more and more during 2010, and this is a prime example of this!

The new route, Route 9 ~ Airport Express is exactly as it sounds,  an express route which connects Francis International Airport to the downtown area. The route starts from the FIA bus stop area in-front of the terminal building. Please park at the LAST spot where “City Shuttle 2″ is listed to stop as “City Shuttle 1″ is where Route 39 ~ Willis stops. At departure, simply follow the Algonqiun-Dukes Expressway, cross the Algonquin Bridge and make your way towards the Waterfront Bus Termial. Please note, THIS ROUTE DOES NOT GO TO BUS LANE. This route has a designated bus stop/shelters which are for this route specifically. To access this area, turn south on Bismarck, east on Jade St., south on Albany Ave., East on Emerald St., and south on Privateer Rd. At the end of Privateer Rd., there is a dedicated stop for this route. It is here where you would change your destination sign to state that you are returning to the airport.

This route is an express route, which states that you are not to make any other stops then the ones outlined by the yellow circles on the map. Stopping on this route removes the “express” aspect, where you are shuttled from one spot to the other as quickly as possible.

I am having another busy period, but I have managed to create a few more routes. This first one which I will release early (unfortunately without a destination sign to accompany it) is going to be Route 70 ~ Schottler. This route is unique as there are two starting points. If you are going to start from the Broker Bus Terminal, you will operate 70B while if you are starting at the end of the hospital loop in Schottler, you will operate 70A or 70L, depending on which route you would like to drive.

Route 70A and 70B are full service, they will travel the entire neighbourhood’s distance, while 70L is like 339 Willis Local (attn, now numbered 39L) in the way which is simply serves a community without a terminal connection. 70L operates from the hospital loop ONLY. See the maps for details.

Though many who work in the Exchange like to drive their expensive cars, travel by limousine or hired SUV, there are still those who are keen on taking transit to their workplace. The LTA is proud to help these few get to work the environmentally frendly way: riding the bus! Route 19 ~ Exchange travels from the Waterfront Bus Terminal into the Exchange. This route will connect the financial center of the city with the entire region thanks to the LTA.

This was a complete oversight on my part, a route which I had though was posted over a year ago (which I have been running all the time as a favorite of mine) and there it isn’t! Wow! Anyways, I would like to unveil the newest route connecting Algonquin, Route 27 ~ Colony Island is the connection from the Waterfront Bus Terminal to Colony Island. This route travels on the newly proposed exit plan from the Waterfront Bus Terminal, reducing the capacity which takes place on the local streets east of Albany Ave. Please note the direction which the bus travels, the blue line outlines Northbound to Charge Island, green outlining the south traveling route returning to the bus terminal.

This is a favorite of mine, enjoy!

Route 27 ~ Colony Island

Long time since the last update, so hopefully this will fill the void in your routes which you have been driving so well for the past few weeks. In honour of the 4th of July, which is Independence Day for the United States of America, the LTA is pleased to provide customers and visitors to our great land and city with the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of Liberty City onboard the comfort of an LTA bus! The route itself, Route 704X – American Capitol is numbered in honor of such date, 7 (month of July) and 04 (fourth day of the month)  speaks volumes about how much we here at the LTA care about the history of our great city and our great country.

This route will travel along the route shown on the map below, please note the orange dots which are affixed to the map stating where the only stops are made regarding this route. While operating this route, we have been given special permission by the LCPD to travel at a reduced rate of speed throughout the route to truely allow the passengers to experience the city as well as the opportunity to stop periodically at the pre-approved points for exploration of the national landmarks. The route will begin outside the Star Junction Police Station, convieniently located under the LCD displays which are sinonomous with Liberty City. Crowds may board the bus to the capacity of seats available (no standing passengers permitted). The route will then travel southbound first stop at Rotterdam Tower, continuing along to Broadway, Middle Park and the Rockefeller Center. Passengers will truely experience Liberty City and what it has to offer, at a great price… free for the entire day!

Drivers please note that this route will continue to operate past the 4th of July, only there will be a non-negotiable fee of $10.00/adult, $5.00/child per tour which can be purchased at the LTA wicket outside the LCPD station in Star Junction.

This next route is of a brand new philosophy, using the freeways of Algonquin to better provide service to passengers. This route has been created to connect the Waterfront Bus Terminal with Northern Algonquin using less time and more speed. This route will depart from the Waterfront and go northbound on the Union Drive East Freeway, north following the express route until it exits to provide access to riders at Hematite Ave, near the Grand Easton Station. The route continues back on the highway northbound towards the end of Union Drive East, where it services the second and final stop at Bismarck Ave and Columbus Ave. This route has only TWO stops, be sure to follow the map carefully and change yuor destination sign when the colour changes on the map.

Liberty City is world reknowned for the people and places it features. The LTA now wants to show off our fine city’s achievements in the artistic department creating a direct connection to Burlesque!

This new route, Route 14 ~ Broadway connects the Waterfront Bus Terminal with Burlesque, in Star Junction. This route will allow people from across the city to have a great time at the theatre while at the same time keeping them satisfied that there will always be a ride to pick them up, even if your evening featured alcahol.

This does however have restrictions. Since many of the shows which are playing on Burlesque occur at certain times, this means that the route will reflect the timing of each show, respectively. Since the first shows of the day begin at 13:00, this bus route will begin at 10:00 and since the last show is at 22:00, this route will end at 01:45.

In continuation with the expansion of the LTA, we are providing more connections for University students into who live in Alderney, connecting the heart of the University with a dedicated line to the Alderney Terminal. Drivers may begin operating this route immediately!

It sure has been a long time since I have added new routes, but I am glad to say that we are getting the route designers back to work and will upload all kinds of new content within the next week; so please stay tuned!

This route is a very rudimentary route run to assist in connecting the communities of Bohan with the San Quentin Ave bus and subway stops. The attached map features the route with the orange dot (the beginning and end point of the route) and your direction of travel (southbound). Please bare with me, the destination sign will be coming shortly, I actually lost the program in a computer crash but have found it once again!

Route 50(B) ~ Bohan Local

Here’s another exciting route! This route will depart the Broker Bus Terminal for one of the LTA’s brand new terminals. The new ‘Sing Sing Terminal’ is a newly aquired empty concrete lot paved on the north side of the East Bohan Bridge, which will be the turn-around point for Route 34E ~ East Bohan. Please read the specific post regarding the Sing Sing terminal for more detailed information.

This route is going to be connecting Broker to East Bohan by offering two routes, Route 34A and Route 34E. Route 34A is designated for night usage, so that people aren’t waiting on a shoreline in the dark. This route will travel inside the streets of Bohan. The other, Route 34E will stop at the new Sing Sing Terminal, and turn around back towards the Broker Bus Terminal, and change destination signs to ’34 East Bohan ~ to Broker Bus Terminal’.

It’s been a very long time since I have uploaded a new route, so I think we’re about due seeing as we have crossed over the 2,000 hits mark today! Thank you for all of your clicks and visits, I hope you return again and again!

Onto the new route, this one is Route 33 ~ Meadows Park. It is the first route to take advantage of the new ‘Enviroute’ system which is going to be announced later on in the New Year, but to give a brief introduction, it’s a brand new non-paved vehicle roadway which this route uses at the north & west ends of Concord Ave. Buses will use this route to bypass traffic on Concord Ave, while still maintaining a good environmental surroundings, seeing as it is only authorized for bus usage.

This route is pretty simple, it is going to be followed up by some more in the coming hours, so keep checking back!

UPDATE: Due to construction on Concorde Ave. this route will go by the new numbering Route 33D ~ Meadow Park, and will detour eastbound on Morris St, Southbound on Ticonderoga Ave, and then southbound on Dukes Blvd, where the route will resume it’s usual drive. Thank you!

This is the other connection to Charge Island, except this one travels from San Quentin Ave. Subway Station to the east parking lot on Charge Island. This route differs from the other Broker Bus Terminal route, as you must do a loop on Broker to be able to travel back to Bohan. This is just a quick loop, and shouldn’t pose any issues.

Here they come! More Bohan routes are on the way, starting with Route 58 ~ San Quentin. This route will connect the Waterfront Bus Terminal with Bohan, by following Columbus Ave & Frankfort Ave before the bus will do a quick loop of San Quentin Ave. and return to the Waterfront Bus Terminal. This route connects with the newly debuted Route 50A, 50C & 50E which will serve local communities as the Bohan Local service. 

An update to this route, instead of operating as Route 58 ~ San Quentin southbound, back to the Waterfront Bus Terminal, this route will remask as Route 12 ~ Columbus.

Here’s another route! Sorry for the delay in posting new routes, I have been swamped with work, and some great new games have come out for the 360 in the past few weeks. *cough* Fable 2 & Mirror’s Edge *cough*. Anyways, this new route will feature a connection the western side of the city, connecting the Ferry Terminal with Aspdin Road in Alderney. This route has been split up into two separate routes. Route 43A ~ The standard route which is operated from 0930 – 1430 & 1930 – 0500 (non-rush hour) and Route 43E ~ rush hour route which operates between 0530 – 0917 & 1434 – 1926 (rush hour). This route is going to ease traffic levels on the current routes which are offered greatly, helping out the drivers and passengers who use the routes everyday. This route connects the Alderney Ferry Terminal bus stops with the north and western portions of Alderney. This route will travel as north as Beaverhead Ave. and loop around by Auto-Eroticar onto Asahara Ave. to connect back with the terminal. Please see the map for the most details.

This is a new route which will travel from the Broker Bus Terminal to Square Station in Willis, which is the transfer and route change for this route. The purpose of Route 339 is to connect the Willis community with the other bus lines, most notably Route 39 ~ Willis. Drivers please note, this is a local route, this means that you will NOT return to the Broker Bus Terminal following the route run, you will return instead to Square Station to start the loop again.

Now, this route is divided into three different segments;

39A ~ Broker Bus Terminal – Willis
39B ~ Square Station – Bluebound (Follow blue line)
39C ~ Square Station – Orangebound (Follow orange line)

39B&C do NOT return to the Broker Bus Terminal, their terminal is at Square Station.

One final note, this route features many stops which are benches with signs indicating stops, please look carefully for these stops as they are vital to connecting the community.

This is the first of two routes which will connect Charge Island to Bohan and Broker. The services will do a complete loop of Charge Island and return to the respective depot. This route, will travel from the Broker Bus Terminal to Charge Island, do the loop and return to the terminal.

As promised a long, long time ago, I am going to be uploading the wharf worker only, Route 31 ~ Broker Wharf. This route has been specifically designed for the Port Authority to transport wharf workers from the Broker Bus Terminal to the Broker Wharf. This route is used due to the absence of parking availability. This route  because it is only operable to workers at Broker Wharf will require that bus operators scan Wharf ID’s on entry to the bus. A printed manifest will be handed to the attendant at the entrance to the dock.

This route has been long waited for by riders and is now available to operate! Route 11 ~ Frankfort operates the same way that Route 11 ~ Columbus operates, following one of the busiest streets to connect north and south Algonquin. This route will go on the opposide side of Middle Park, connecting the Waterfront Bus Terminal with the Exeter Ave.

I am very pleased to introduce to everyone the brand new ‘Twenty-Eight’ series of routes, brought to you by the City of Liberty, Education Coalition of Liberty City, and the Liberty Transit Authority. The new Twenty-Eight series route, displayed as Route 28 ~ University, will transport students from University at Liberty (U@L) to various different residences, neighborhoods, and bus terminals. These routes will provide students with the connections which will allow them to get more out of their education and time in Liberty City. Below are descriptions for each of the Twenty-Eight series of routes;

Route 28A ~ Serves Galveston & Frankfort Ave’s. between Obsidian and Xenotime St’s.
Route 28B ~ Serves Galveston Ave, Xenotime and Wardite St’s, and Vespucci Circus
Route 28C ~ Serves Topaz St, Columbus and Albany Ave’s. between Topaz & Nickel St’s.
Route 28D ~ Serves the Alderney Ferry Terminal from directly from the University and Varsity Heights area.
Route 28E ~ Express which connects U@L to the Waterfront Bus Terminal. This route makes no stops in between the terminals.
Route 28N* ~ Serves local Varsity Heights area, with the exception that the bus will stop at any desired point on the route, including bus stops.

*Please make note of the update which has been made to Route 28N by viewing the new map which is linked to the name.

With the introduction of the Hybrid program, the LTA has not been able to connect the new terminal with the cities number 1 tourist attraction, Star Junction. Though now, LTA is proud to introduce a new route which will be able to finally connect the two most important sites in the city, Star Junction and the Waterfront Bus Terminal. This route was originally planned to be named as Route 21 ~ Waterfront, but as the Hybrid program has not allowed the route name to stay the same as the terminal has changed.

This is another new route centering around Bohan unifying the area with a dedicated bus route. This route is different than other routes, as it is a continuous loop, only stopping at San Quentin Ave. Subway station for operator breaks and an extended bus stop time. This route will travel around Bohan connecting the various districts and neighborhoods. 

For now, I have rush updated the 50A route, 50C and 50E will be updated shortly!

I firstly have to apologize, it has been quite a while since I have updated the site with new routes, and since I have been working on the schedules and routes list. I will make sure to get it up and running by the beginning of next week. I am happy to inform everyone that the Current Routes & Charters page has been posted!

As for the new route which is being posted, I would like to introduce Route 22 ~ Chinatown! This is a dedicated route which will cater to Chinatown from the Waterfront Bus Terminal. The route will operate around the clock, connecting lower parts of Algonquin to the major bus terminal. This route is to be expanded to twice the frequency during the Chinese New Year celebrations, but that will be announced when the upshift is necessary.

Route 24 ~ Chinatown

More and more getting uploaded today! This route is a quick one, just a round trip traveling from Broker Bus Terminal to the Monoglobe and National Union of Contemporary Arts area. Nothing special here, just loop around once and return to the Broker Bus Terminal and your route is complete!

Route 32 ~ Museum

In accordance with the Hybrid program, one of our most heavilly travelled routes, Route 12 ~ Columbus, has been altered to adhere to the new system. Route 12 now will have two streams, 12A and 12E. 12A is the new Hybrid route, which will travel to the Waterfront Bus Terminal and connect Columbus Ave. much the same as it was previously before the Hybrid program. 12E, the existing route will allow the busiest route to connect to Star Junction, as it did before. Please make sure you input the correct route into your direction sign when doing the respective route!

Another update hits the route centre, this one is updating this site’s first ever bus route! Route 25 ~ Middle Park is just as it sounds, a route which travels around Middle Park, and then returns to the Waterfront Bus Terminal. This route is great because it connects one of the most highly visited tourist attractions in Liberty City, to the Waterfront, which is equally good looking!

Keeping up with altering all of the necessary routes which need to be altered to comply with the ‘Hybrid’ program, the LTA is now releasing the updated Varsity Heights route, just in time for school! This route once again will connect the new Waterfront Bus Terminal with the Varsity Heights area. Please note drivers that you will be able to drive into the ‘Do Not Enter’ section of Varsity Heights, as this is where you will on and off load your passengers. This route is great as it travels up Galveston, Frankfort and Columbus, so there are lots of bus shelters for you to stop at, if necessary that is.

Due to the decision to move the Algonquin Bus Terminal from Star Junction to a new location on the Waterfront, there are going to be a number of changes to routes which operate in Algonquin. Waterfront Bus Terminal

Here is a brand new Hybrid route from the new Waterfront Bus Terminal. Route 22 ~ Albany travels north and south on Albany Ave. This route will connect the north and south ends of Albany Ave. just as the Galveston route connects the north and south ends on the west side of Algonquin. This route is fairly simple, hope you guys enjoy it!

Route 22 ~ Albany (Hybrid)

This route has already been posted, but for now the old version has been removed to make way for this new version. The new Route 20 ~ Galveston begins and ends from the new Algonquin Bus Terminal located on Bus Lane at the Waterfront in Castle Gardens.

Route 20 ~ Galveston travels from Bus Lane towards Columbus Ave. connecting to Garnet St. and then joins Galveston for the long drive all the way up Galveston. The route then goes east on Grummer Rd, south on Frankfort Ave until you reach Uranium St where the route turns west and you connect back to Galveston for the long drive south. This route is great because it travels on a street which has the most bus stops per block then any other road in the game!

Route 805 ~ Subway Shuttle (A-Line)

Hey drivers,

This is a brand new route which has been engineered to be used only during power outages which effect the Subway Systems of Liberty City. The 800 Series of LTA bus routes will be surface routes which travel the exact routes subways travel underground. Below are all of the maps which will be used for the 800 series routes. Please note, maps will include two different colours at times. The different colours indicate a change of bus is required to continue on to the desired station. (e.g. Frankfort High and Low is a transfer station to E and B route buses, the C and K buses will turn around and continue their circuit south throughout Algonquin). A notice will be issued when this route is to be operated, but for now, please remember this route is for Emergencies only, while subways are not operating.

Another new route is being announced! This one is another Broker route, connecting the Broker Bus Terminal to the northwest neighborhoods of Broker. Pretty simple route, hope you guys enjoy it!

Route 36 ~ Franklin-Morris

This is a pilot project on this next route, introducing a new terminal of sorts. Route 23 ~ Vespucci Circus travels up Frankfort Ave, and over throughout the Vespucci Circus loop. Completing this, the bus will travel south on Frankfort Ave. until you arrive at Uranium St. Make a right on Uranium St, and a right on Galveston Ave. And then a quick right on Vauxite St. and another quick right into the Hospital loading zone. This is another stop, where the new pilot terminal will be. Once you have loaded and unloaded your passengers at the hospital, you will make a right on Frankfort, and continue south until you arrive at Star Junction. So, the first time you go south on Frankfort you will turn into the hospital, the second time you turn South, continue towards Star Junction. Also note that this route does not operate between 2200 – 0500. This is due to safety and security issues at Vespucci Circus.

Route 23 ~ Vespucci Circus

My creative juices are flowing again today, and I am ready to add some more new routes. This one here is a daytime only route. Due to the route traveling through a higher violence vicinity, to keep operator safety at a paramount, this route is only to be served from 0600 until 1800. Following these hours, riders can go to the Broker Bus Terminal for service on other routes throughout the area.

Route 37 ~ Seneca

Here is another one! My mind is bubbling with ideas today! This is an alternate route which can be used aside from the Express route which operates between Broker Bus Terminal and Francis International Airport. This route travels through Willis, to end up at either terminal whether it be the Airport or Broker Bus Terminal.

I haven’t updated the site in a while, but I have noticed some favorable numbers from the stats bar in the Dashboard, which indicates interest! I’m so happy that you guys are stopping by, but please leave some comments, they are always welcome and can spark some awesome discussion!

Anyways, without further rambling, here is the newest route to be introduced, Route 117 ~ Docklands. This route is similar to the route which operates to the Broker Shipyard, it is for employees of the companies or Port Authority. The route begins at the Alderney Ship Terminal and continues towards Port Tudor. This route features stop bubbles to indicate where the bus stops on both the entrance and exit routes from Port Tudor. I hope you guys enjoy this one!

Route 117 ~ Docklands

Once again, i’m pleased to introduce the newest route. This one could technically be categorized as an Express route, but since there are mandatory stops along Frankfort Ave. it will remain just a normal downtown route. This route connects the higher education campus in Varsity Heights with Star Junction. This route will introduce a new hub station which is located in the ’Do Not Enter’ section of the University. Expect to see more routes come from Varsity Heights soon! As usual, the route is shown below, please comment on the maps and posts to give feedback on my work.

Route 29 ~ Varsity Heights

I am pleased to introduce one of the newest routes! Route 12, Columbus is a route which runs the entire course of Columbus Ave, in both directions. In this map, there are 2 routes. Route 12A, and Route 12B. Route 12A (green) departs Star Junction, (from Burlesque) southbound and connects to Columbus Ave. This route ends at Denver Ave. at the south end of Algonquin. Route 12B (blue) departs from Denver and Amethyst heading eastbound to connect to Columbus and then up to the top where you end on Exeter Ave. This route is a continuous route, but has different direction signs. They will be referred to as;

12 Columbus (to Denver St.)

12 Columbus (to Exeter Ave.)

Hey everyone!

Thanks for visiting the LTA maps database! Here is the latest edition to the map database, this route concentrates on Hove Beach and the Broker area. There are 3 variations I have worked out, below are the details.

Route 38 ~ Hove Beach

Original and standard Route 38, not recommended due to damage to bus enroute

Route 38A ~ Hove Beach (Night Access)

Night access for Route 38.

Route 38E ~ Hove Beach (With Detour)

Recommended day access route for Route 38 ~ Hove Beach.

The night access provides the bus operator with better lighting and surrounding conditions, to keep safety at a paramount. The detoured route moves around a hilly area which can damage the bus if tackled at a high(er) rate of speed. I recommend that you use 38E during regular daylight service, and 38A at night.
